Simone is gentle and intuitive and very thorough in her examination and evaluation. She is incredibly knowledgeable in the field of Ayurveda and helped me understand how my anxiety and difficulty focusing manifested but also how to begin getting it under control in ways that are sustainable and easy for me to integrate into my daily routine. I felt cared for and I valued her holistic approach to my health and wellness.
She has been practicing Ayurveda in Marin County for fifteen years. She is the founder and owner of Marin Ayurveda since 2007. Before that she was the co-owner of Sammasati Ayurveda in Mill Valley and Pt. Reyes Station. In 2005 – 2006 she was a founding developer of Safronya Retreat in San Rafael, where she also worked as a practitioner. She has taught in the long-distance learning program from the California College of Ayurveda, teaches in the IAYT accredited 800 hr. Yoga Therapy Training at Stress Management Center, Marin County, has been a guest teacher at JFK University and CIIS in the SF Bay Area. Simone is a professional member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association.
