As an Ayurvedic Wellness Counsellor who is passionate about holistic wellness, I love motivating people to make a positive difference in their lives. I look forward to coaching people on personalized life-style changes that promote healthy living by incorporating Ayurvedic principles of diet, lifestyle, and Yogic practices.
I have a Masters degree from The University of Arizona, AZ. USA, and a Bachelor's degree from Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), India. I have over 15 years of Public Sector work experience in urban planning, policy, and design that has helped me understand the demands placed on a fast-paced on-the-go lifestyle of the current times.
I live with my family in the San Francisco Bay Area with my husband and two beautiful children. I enjoy yoga, meditation, reading books, arts, and photography. I enjoy watching movies, spending time outdoors hiking, or chilling by the ocean with my family. I incorporate service into my life by supporting and volunteering as much as I can for The Art of Living Foundation, Vibha Striders, and The Boy Scouts of America.
My love for adventure and exploring is not just tied to discovering places or activities, but also discovering my life purpose and inner strength.
I have trained and completed a Vibha Strider's half-marathon, a journey that pushed my potential and boundaries of self discovery. Incorporating Ayurvedic principles, yogic practices, and meditation that I learnt over the last two decades, through the The Art of Living Foundation, my family, as well as self-quest, has helped me tremendously on my spiritual journey.
I recently took a leap of faith and decided to study Ayurveda formally, so that I can help as many people as I can. I have not looked back since. At Kerala Ayurveda Academy and Wellness, Milpitas, CA. I completed my Ayurvedic Wellness Counsellor Program, and I am currently pursuing an advanced Ayurveda Practitioner program there.
