Shannon Elsom is a licensed massage therapist, level III Reiki healer and Ayurvedic practitioner with over 17 years of experience working in the field of therapeutic massage. She is also a certified Intuitive Eating Counselor listed on the National Directory who has done extensive work with women helping them overcome eating disorder and body image issues. Her rehabilitative approach pulls from a broad range of healing techniques including, Swedish Esalen, Ayurveda, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, Heller Work, neuromuscular retraining and energy balancing with Reiki.
She has worked alongside many of Sonoma County’s finest doctors providing therapeutic massage for their patients. This has gifted her with a solid base of knowledge in the treatment of such conditions as, carpal tunnel syndrome, sports injuries, neck trauma, sciatica, chronic pain conditions resulting from repetitive motion and injury due to car accidents. Personal injury cases are one of her specialties. She believes in addressing mind, body and spirit in her healing sessions.
