She is teaching Ayurveda’s lifestyle management in the United States since 1998.
She has completed a Bachelors's degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery from Amaravati University in Maharashtra India and a Masters's in Healthcare Administration and Management from California College of Health Sciences. She is a certified Panchakarma Therapist, Certified Beauty Therapist and board Certified Alternative Medical Practitioner.
Jaya has recently published her book: “Aging Gracefully”. It is available on Amazon. She is a writer of “Ayurveda and Beauty Therapy” and related columns in the Indian Newspaper.
She is a founder of Active Ayurveda and Yoga and The Institute of Ayurveda and Life Style Management.
She volunteers to seminars and workshops on various topics in Ayurveda.
She is an active member of AAPNA (Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America), ISAH (International Society of Ayurveda and Health), AAPRA (American Association of Practitioners and Researchers of Ayurveda and CAPI ( Connecticut Association of Physicians of Indian Origin).

She concentrates on prevention and wellness in Women’s Health and Nutrition in Ayurveda, Arthritis, Asthma, Allergies, Mental health, Stress management, and various other chronic conditions. She has started an Ayurvedic Weight Management wellness program. She is a very dedicated healing practitioner. She has also developed special lifestyle management for a wellness program.  She is interviewed by Connecticut Magazine under Best doctors in Connecticut April 2018 issue.
