My name is Dr. Nishal Ramnunan. I am an Ayurvedic physician and a registered practitioner with the National Ayurvedic Medical Association. My primary focus is on natural and Ayurvedic management of chronic diseases and lifestyle-related illnesses. While conventional medicine utilizes symptomatic treatment, Ayurvedic medical protocols target the disease by countering every aspect of the pathogenesis starting from the root all the way to the symptom.
When a patient comes to me, I spend at least an hour evaluating every single aspect of their symptoms as well as stresses. As a doctor, a person is putting their health in my hands, and it is only fair that I give that person as much of my attention as possible. I do not simply want to hear about a symptom and send the person off with a prescription. I listen to the everything.
Patients need to be heard. They need to be listened to, and most of all, they need to be given reassurance and care.
