Don Diggs is the co-founder of the Center for Health and Wellness, an integrated center offering clinical nutrition, acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and Ayurvedic medicine.

Don practices Traditional Chinese Medicine including acupuncture combined with Cupping Techniques, Gua Sha Techniques, Electrical Stimulation and Chinese Herbal Medicine. He treats a wide variety of conditions which can be referenced in the acupuncture section of this website.

Don is a graduate of the Maryland Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a five year program in acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. He has served as a participating practitioner-instructor for the University of Maryland School of Medicine Complementary Medicine Program.

Don is credentialed as an Ayurvedic Doctor (A.D.) by the National Ayurvedic Medical Association and the Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America. He has been in continuous Ayurvedic practice for over 24 years. He completed the Ayurvedic Program for Health Professionals offered through the American Institute of Vedic Studies under the personal direction of Dr. David Frawley in 1993 (http://www.vedanet.com/ – see practitioner resource guide). He studied advanced Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis under the direction of Dr. Vasant Lad, an internationally recognized Ayurvedic Physician and author. Don was recognized in the Washingtonian Magazine as a “noted Washington DC area Practitioner” of Ayurvedic Medicine in the article, “Can The New Medicine Heal you” (1996).
