Ayurveda Practitioners
I am a lover of all things Yoga, food, and Ayurveda. Being born and raised in a traditional Indian household in the middle of the deep South, I was always trying to find a balance and connection between Eastern and Western cultures. After studying Psychology in college, I left for a 3 month journey to India where I got my first true exposures with Yoga, Sanskrit, and Ayurveda. I began to realize that there was much more of a connection between the East and West than I could have ever imagined.
After getting married, my husband and I went to study at The Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, NM for the first year program. I fell in love with Ayurveda so much, I decided to continue on and complete the second year. While at the Institute, I also studied Ayuryoga®, a blend of Ayurveda and Yoga created by Vasant Lad, BAM&S, MASc. I am a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner and Ayuryoga Yoga Therapist.
