Kara Catrelle MSW LCSW

Kara Catrelle, MSW, LCSW, CVA received her Master's Degree in Clinical Social work from Loyola University - Chicago with training in Ayurveda in Kerala, India and at Maharishi University of Management. She is a licensed psychotherapist and certified Vedic Astrologer and Ayurvedic Practitioner in private practice in Asheville, NC.

She offers her clients consultation which includes Jyotisha (Vedic Astrology), Ayurveda, Jungian-based Psychotherapy, Dream Analysis, and Professional Tarot Consultations for individuals and couples. She considers her practice to be a unique and truly holistic foundation for wellness, healing and greater self-awareness. Ms. Catrelle is an ally of the LGBT community and operates an LGBTQIA-friendly and accepting practice. 

Ms. Catrelle is on the Board of Advisors and was also the Team Lead and Educational Instructor for Aveda's Institute of Beauty & Wellness Accredited Ayurveda-Esthiology licensure program. Along with several other experts in Ayurveda, Esthetics, Business, Spa & Wellness, Ms. Catrelle assists in designing and teaching curriculum that meets the Standards of Education for the following organizations: NACCAS (National Accrediting Commission for Career Arts & Sciences), the WEAB (Wisconsin Educational Approval Board), and NAMA (National Ayurvedic Medical Association).

She has education and experience in traditional/formal education and curriculum design, which includes Masters in Education classes at Alverno College, Milwaukee, WI and teaching experience that ranges from K-12 on up to teaching as an Adjunct Instructor for Loyola University (Chicago) Master of Social Work Program - Carthage Campus and Vedic Astrology and Ayurveda classes within the community.
