About Mamta Pranjivan

Mamta Pranjivan creates authentic Ayurvedic wellness experiences orientated around self-understanding and inner awareness to address individual health concerns. She empathetically guides individuals in consciously making choices conducive to their wellbeing in order to create harmony across all domains of their lives. Her Ayurvedic therapeutic approach is focused on using food as medicine, a personalized herbal protocol, curating a harmonized lifestyle, Abhyanga (oil massages) and other body therapies complemented with appropriate yoga asanas, pranayama, contemplative and restorative practices.

Drawing on her professional background in western healthcare alongside her traditional and experiential Ayurvedic knowledge, Mamta is able to gain deeper insights into the root causes of health issues that may be overlooked by conventional methods. She envisions a collaborative and integrative approach, leveraging the best of modern and traditional medicine systems to ensure safe and effective wholistic health outcomes.

Mamta Pranjivan graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology. She has worked as Medical Sales Representative and Clinical Research Associate in the pharmaceutical industry. She has also worked as a Research Assistant at the Baycrest Rotman Research Institute.

By virtue of her cultural heritage, Mamta was brought up to incorporate food, lifestyle and spirituality in achieving health and healing. Subsequently, Mamta has delved into her roots through the study of Ayurveda earning her Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Practice in Ayurvedic Herbal Medicine at Middlesex University, London.
Her natural curiosity of the yogic sciences and desire for personal development has led her to undertake 500 hours professional training in Hatha and Kundalini Yoga. She has instructed private yoga sessions and seniors group sessions at the Wagman Center, Baycrest.

Mamta continues to expand and enrich her knowledge base through exploring the developing discourse and literature in both traditional and modern clinical sciences. This helps her both appreciate and stay attuned to various perspectives, allowing for an informed and creative wholistic approach.
