Mission and vision

The Science of Life Institute (SOLI), the former Gandiva Institute, was founded in 2011. The institute is an international organization based in The Hague and focuses on the sectors: Education, Healthcare and Culture. Sector research is currently in the start-up phase. The Science of Life Institute is an independent knowledge institute that is committed to translating fundamental insights from Ayurveda science as efficiently as possible to contemporary standards. With the aim to stimulate Personalized Medicine Ayurveda by promoting health and fighting chronic diseases worldwide through prevention.

Welfare interventions

The three pillars on which the organization rests are cooperation, knowledge sharing and awareness . The institute has developed various welfare programs aimed at a number of specific target groups. These are offered to companies, government and institutions, among others. For healthcare professionals, we provide continuing education courses in the field of welfare interventions. Interested parties can choose from a wide range of lectures, training, workshops and courses. Various retreats are regularly organized at home and abroad.

Although Personalized medicine is still in its infancy in modern medicine, it is an ancient science from traditional Ayurvedic medicine. By investing in both fundamental and applied scientific research, we can further develop the personalized welfare interventions. The institute selects healthcare professionals, top researchers and scientists and encourages collaboration. With a joint approach, the insights from the studies are translated into applicable methods and tailor-made treatments.

Digital International platform

The Science of Life Institute is building an international network to create support for high-quality care and to combat chronic diseases in world health or Global Health. Top researchers work towards a common goal and are supported by universities, partner institutions and governments. The institute has a digital international platform to promote and invest in fundamental research. There is a lot of knowledge, but as yet little cooperation to be able to translate the results to current standards. In order to go back to the basics of Ayurveda science and understand it, one and the same language must be spoken worldwide.
