Dr. Sivarama Prasad Vinjamury is a co- founder of Acuveda Holistic Health Center which is one of its kind in Southern California offering two ancient systems of health care: Oriental Medicine and Ayurveda.'
Graduated from the University of Kerala (MD in Ayurveda), Southern California University of Health Science (MAOM) and California State University, Fullerton (MPH), Dr. Prasad is an Associate Professor and serves as Western Medicine, Oriental Medicine and Ayurvedic Medicine faculty and clinician at Southern California University of Health Science.
His research interests include investigating complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) therapies to validate their usefulness and efficacy, utilizing scientific methods. His current project is Efficacy of Acupuncture for Hypertension – RCT. He is the author of several publications and regular presenter at various conferences.
