Kyona obtained her CMP certification at California Healing Arts College in 2001 and became the lead Massage Therapist at L’Ermitage Beverly Hills while simultaneously launching kyTherapy and providing bodywork services to an exclusive clientele.
In 2005, Kyona began co-hosting Yoga retreats in Santa Barbara, and in 2009 completed her first 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at YogaWorks, Pacific Palisades.
To expand her knowledge of Yoga and Ayurveda, Kyona also completed a four-year program at Loyola Marymount University and studied at The Belly Mind Institute, and is currently a C-IAYT Yoga Therapist and National Board Certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor in San Diego, CA.
Kyona’s holistic approach to wellness also led her to complete practitioner programs at IIN, Holistic Cannabis Academy, Vibrational Sound Association, Peristeam Hydrotherapy Institute and EarSeeds Academy, broadening the scope of her holistic practice to promote elevated self-care through kyveda.
