Gayatri Ayurveda
Vaidya(Prof.) Gaytri Kalia, BAMS, MD (Ayurveda), PhD (Ayurveda), is a Doctor of Ayurvedic Medicine, Educationist, Researcher, Writer, and Healer. An alumnus of world famous Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India, she has experience of practicing as an Ayurveda consultant and Panchkarma specialist for over 20 years.
She served as an Associate Professor & Researcher in CBPACS, a Government Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital in Delhi, India before migrating to Canada. She has been serving as a visiting Professor at European Institute of Scientific Research in Ayurveda (EISRA), Netherlands: ICAU, Belgium and Ayurveda UK, England with experience of imparting the essence of true Ayurveda to the western world. She was also a guest faculty at Indian Red Cross Society, New Delhi on invitation by The Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.
She was awarded ‘Anmol Ratan’ Award for excellent contribution in the field of Ayurveda by Ayurveda Drugs Manufacturers Association, Punjab, India and ‘Award of Honor’ for excellent teaching by EISRA, Netherlands.
Her specialization includes expertise at Pulse Diagnosis, Mental Health Disorders management, Psychotherapy, Counseling, Life style & other chronic diseases management, Panchkarma therapies including all types of detox therapies. She is also expert in delivering lectures on Ayurveda to Medical professionals, Ayurveda enthusiasts, students, general public and in customizing specific teaching modules and courses.
Her achievements include Chairing session at India – Africa Health Summit, an International symposium organized by CII on behalf of Government of India held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, Subject Expert for Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi, Authoring a chapter on ‘Agni’-Biological fire for a book under publication by Rashtriya Ayurved Vidyapeeth, New Delhi, subject expert on ‘Dictionary of Ayurveda’ by CSTT, Government of India ,worked as a reviewer of research articles for JAIM, an international peer review journal
She also holds editorial experience of being Executive Editor, CBPACS News Letter, Managing Editor ‘Ayurveda Actueel’ a Dutch Health Magazine, Netherland, ‘Prakash Deep Ayurveda Today’, ‘Brahma Prakash’ published by CBPACS. New Delhi.
Having been invited as chairperson, subject expert, keynote speaker, resource person at various platforms across the globe, she has also contributed as an author and reviewer of Ayurveda research articles for JAIM, an international peer review journal.
She is well known for her empathetic attitude and patient listening. During the consultation session, she advocates specific dietary & nutritional guidelines along with Ayurvedic herbal formulations according to the ailment.
