This is why we are unwaveringly committed to rigorous quality testing on all our products, why we only use packaging that is environmentally friendly, why we invest in our properties with solar energy, satellite-controlled water conservation systems, and bioswales to filter runoff water from our roofs and pavement. It is why we worked hard to become Oregon’s first Zero Waste Facility, diverting more than 90% of all non-hazardous waste from landfills and incineration.
“People, plants, and planet before profit” is also the foundation of our relationship with our partner farmers throughout the Pacific Northwest, and with our global farm partners through Fair for Life, a rigorous certification standard for fair trade that requires transparency and equity throughout the entire supply chain and provides funding to hard-hit farming communities in order to support life changing innovations in organic agriculture, health, and education. As one of our partner farmers in India said so perfectly—Fair for Life means we are all committed together to a system that is “fair for farmers, fair for [the] environment, and fair for customers.”

They just rearranged everything, and they now have a mercantile side and a bulk side. We absolutely love Mountain Rose Herbs, they have high quality products and the vibe in their store is simply magical. The staff were very friendly. If you're looking for some obscure herb that you can't find anywhere but online, MRH probably has it. I can't recommend them enough

Mountain Rose is the quintessential place for all things organic, herbal, incense, and tea related. There is so much to see and to choose from. If you are making your own preparations or looking for essential oils, I'm sure they have what you are looking for. They have stuff for pets, personal care, shaving, and even tooth powder. Aromatherapy items are available with a broad selection. If you like tea, this is a great place to look for new mixtures. Most everything is local or sourced from fair trade/organic places.

My daughter and I stopped in here for some mushroom powder and a couple essential oils. She has a compromised Immune System, so whenever she comes in to town, this place is a must. Their inventory here is amazing. Quite the stock and selection for many of your ailments. The knowledge base expressed behind the counter was thorough and reassuring, and oh so kind. The place has such a cool vibe going on too, that it's very easy to get lost in all the colors, shapes, containers, glass and light. We were there for almost an hour! The displays are very appealing and appropriate for the building. So much wood... We were able to find everything that we needed, and the price point was very fair for the quality of product! Amazing place! We enjoyed our time there

Your employee Lindsay needs training on customer service. Acts like an airhead when I ask questions has no want or desire to help me find the product I need. Hire intelligent intellectual people please it will make the shopping experience way better. Didn't even know what you had in stock for lavender esential oil. Just got an im sorry like im just a number next in line cone again,.... ?

Mountain Rose Herbs is an amazing source of natural, intentionally sourced products available in either bulk or carefully crafted in-house creations. They are a small team of people who truly care about themselves, their community as well as the natural world and that is evident in their offerings. Their website and newsletter is a lovely source of DIY information and recipes for individuals to experiment and create at home with loved ones. Everything I have ever purchased from them has been fresh and very high quality. Thanks again for helping keep my body and mind nourished with good stuff:) Also, do not expect fast shipping, this is not Amazon and believe it or not, it is a bit exciting having to wait a normal amount of time for mail order, like way back when in the early 2010's haha. Each order is packed by an actual person in what I assume is a healthy and respectable work environment, which for me, is worth the wait:) Cheers!!!
